On Wednesday night, Moe's is hosting a $10-per-person, all-you-can-eat fundraiser with all proceeds going to Mentor High School Athletics.
MENTOR, Ohio -- Moe's Southwest Grill is offering free burritos for a year to the the first 50 people who show up at its Mentor eatery, at 9710 Mentor Ave., on Thursday morning, Nov. 20.
On Wednesday night, Moe's is hosting a $10-per-person, all-you-can-eat fundraiser with all proceeds going to Mentor High School Athletics from 6-8 p.m. Tickets are available at Mentor High School, 6477 Center St., or at Moe's that evening.
The restaurant will open to the public after a ribbon-cutting with the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Moe's, a fast-casual franchise chain based in Atlanta, has four other Northeast Ohio restaurants: at the Cleveland Clinic at 9500 Euclid Ave.; at 25102 Brook Park Road, in North Olmsted; at 36050 Detroit Road, in Avon; and at 3029 Graham Road, in Stow.
"The first thing you'll hear when you walk into the restaurant is an enthusiastic, 'Welcome to Moe's!'" Moe's website says. "With more than 20 incredibly fresh ingredients like all-natural chicken, grass-fed steak and organic tofu to create one-of-a-kind meals, Moe's has everyone covered, from meat lovers to tree huggers to vegetarians and flexitarians."
All meals are made to order and come with free chips and salsa. Besides its burritos, Moe's also serves kids' meals, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options.
Moe's also features touch-screen operated Coca-Cola Freestyle soda fountains, offering more than 100 regular, low-calorie and caffeine-free beverages.
The Mentor location is the first of several planned by owners Ryan O'Hare, Paul Giggi and Thomas O'Hare, although they have not identified the other sites.
The Mentor restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call the restaurant at 440-579-5115.
