WESTLAKE, Ohio -- To celebrate the grand opening of its first retail store in Ohio, Soft Surroundings is offering the first 100 shoppers at its Westlake store in Crocker Park on Friday a goody bag with $300 worth of complimentary beauty treatments, drinks, treats, and a 15-percent-off coupon.
Soft Surroundings' store opening Friday at Crocker Park in Westlake will be its 22nd nationwide. Soft Surroundings, a St. Louis, Missouri-based catalog and online retailer, sells casual women's fashions, beauty and skincare products, jewelry, accessories and home decor.
It began as a mail order company in 1999, and opened its first store in in St. Louis in 2005.
The Westlake store opening at 10 a.m. Friday, is part of an 11-store expansion for 2015 and will be the company's 22nd nationwide. It will offer not only the merchandise found in Soft Surroundings' catalogs and website, but also items available only in-store.
"Busy women of all ages are our customers -- especially those who need to be reminded to put themselves at the top of their 'To Do List,'" the company says on its website.
Soft Surroundings stores offer makeup, beauty and skincare treatments. "Our philosophy is that by putting yourself first, you can take better care of friends and family and hopefully live a happier, more fulfilling life."
From clothing to bed linens, all of its fabrics are rated "so soft," "heavenly soft" and "ultimate softness."
"Our brand is all about slowing down life's rigorous pace and taking the time to rejuvenate and take care of one's self," said Danny Boddy, vice president of retail stores, in a written announcement. "We offer beautiful apparel, luxurious bedding, French-inspired furniture and beauty solutions, all hand chosen for today's busy woman."
Soft Surroundings is next to BCBG Max Azria and across from Talbots on Main Street, south of Crocker Boulevard.
