Consumers have to pay attention to what stores they want to hit, and in what order, to get the deals they're hoping to score on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The only thing that's clear about when stores open this Thanksgiving and Black Friday is that consumers have to pay attention to what stores they want to shop, and in what order, to score the deals they want.
While some stores are open all night, through Black Friday, others are open for only a few hours on Thursday. And some retailers, such as Giant Eagle, have different opening times depending on the store location.
Here are our lists, which we'll update as new information becomes available ...
Stores open on Thanksgiving:
6 a.m.: Kmart (open 42 hours through midnight Black Friday).
7 a.m.: Acme Fresh Market (until 1 p.m.), Big Lots, Dollar General, Marc's (select stores).
8 a.m.: Buehler's Fresh Foods (until 4 p.m.), Family Dollar, RadioShack, Rite Aid.
4 p.m.: HHGregg, Michaels, Old Navy.
5 p.m.: Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, J.C. Penney (through 1 p.m. Friday), Stein Mart (through 10 p.m.), Toys 'R' Us (open 30 hours through 11 p.m. Black Friday).
6 p.m.: Aurora Farms Premium Outlets, Belden Village Mall (through 10 p.m. Friday), Great Lakes Mall, Great Northern Mall, Kohl's, Macy's, Office Depot, OfficeMax, Sears, SouthPark Mall, Sports Authority, Staples, Target, Value City Furniture (through 2 a.m. Friday), Walmart (doorbusters start at 6 p.m.).
7 p.m.: Five Below.
8 p.m.: Ulta Beauty.
10 p.m.: Lodi Station Outlets.
