CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Six months after Steve deMoulpied launched his Presto Fresh grocery delivery service in Cuyahoga County, the business has gotten a major new partner and supplier of fresh foods in Zagara's Marketplace in Cleveland Heights.

"We've been around for 78 years, but we're always looking for new and better ways to meet customers' demands and needs."
Zagara's Marketplace last year completed a $400,000 renovation and overhaul of its store, expanding its offerings and modernizing the store as part of efforts to make itself more of a destination grocer.

Here's how Presto Fresh works: Customers browse among the 5,000 items on the website, click on what they want and in what quantities, and pay in advance online.
Items are delivered within a day or two within a two-hour window between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., seven days a week. Orders received by 1 p.m. can be delivered the next day.
The minimum order is $50, not including a $7.95 to $9.95 delivery charge, depending on how much you buy, with extra discounts for people who are more flexible about when they get their delivery.

"Busy professionals and families don't always have the time to make specials trips to a traditional grocery store or market," he said. "And some elderly persons or people with physical or medical limitations find it difficult to get out. We're able to eliminate the inconvenience and overcome the challenges related to mobility and access."
