Other confirmed tenants include: Giant Eagle, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panera Bread, Pet Supplies Plus and Menchies Frozen Yogurt.
CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - Iron Chef Michael Symon's B Spot Restaurant is among several confirmed tenants for the $60 million Portage Crossing development in Cuyahoga Falls.
Stark Enterprises Inc. said the 28-acre project at State Road and Portage Trail will also include: a 92,000-square-foot Giant Eagle supermarket, a Chipotle Mexican Grill, Panera Bread bakery-cafe, Pet Supplies Plus and Menchies Frozen Yogurt.
B Spot, known for its burgers, bratwurst and draft beers, and Menchies, a self-serve yogurt and toppings eatery, also have locations at Stark's Crocker Park in Westlake and at Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere.
Other B Spots are located in Strongsville and at Quicken Loans Arena during Cleveland Cavaliers games.
"Since the opening of the potential new location is still quite some time away, it would not be appropriate to speculate on the future of our existing Cuyahoga Falls Giant Eagle and GetGo locations," spokesman Dan Donovan said via e-mail.
Cuyahoga Falls Mayor Don Robart said the six retailers represent about 26 percent of the 400,000-square-foot retail project, which will break ground this June.
"We are very close to finalizing an agreement with yet another major retailer which will be more than double the size of the Giant Eagle store," he said in a written statement.
As at Crocker Park, Stark envisions "bustling streets filled with the most popular national and regional retailers and dining establishments," he said.
