CLEVELAND, Ohio -- RPM International Inc.'s Rust-Oleum Corp. subsidiary has acquired Seal-Krete, a Florida-based manufacturer of weatherproofing coatings and sealants for concrete and masonry whose annual net sales exceed $10 million.
Seal-Krete, based in Auburndale, Florida, and formerly a division of Clayton Valve, manufactures a complete line of priming, painting, sealing and finishing products for decorating and maintaining concrete, masonry, brick and pavers, RPM said.
Seal-Krete products, aimed at both professional contractors and do-it-yourselfers, are sold primarily at home improvement centers, as well as independent hardware and paint stores. Its brands include Seal-Krete Original, Damplock, Epoxy-Seal, and Clear-Seal.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the acquisition is expected to contribute to RPM's earnings within one year.
